30-day return policy
You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. The item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging. Please retain your receipt or proof of purchase.
How to request a return
Email info@blackdogcomix.com with your order number and the items you wish to return. Please obtain approval and return instructions before sending anything back. The return address can differ from our business address because suppliers fulfill orders directly.
Return shipping and restocking fees
For accepted returns, Black Dog Comics provides a free prepaid return shipping label by email, ready to download and print. You do not pay return shipping for an accepted return. We do not charge restocking fees.
Item eligibility
Sale-priced comics and prints follow the same 30-day return conditions as full-priced items. Gift cards, personalized items, and custom-made special orders cannot be returned. Contact us about any damaged, defective, or incorrect item, including a personalized or custom-made item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Refunds
After we receive and inspect your return, we will email you with the refund decision. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit. If more than 10 business days have passed since approval, contact us.
Exchanges
To exchange an eligible item, request a return and make a separate purchase for the replacement after the return is accepted.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Inspect your order when it arrives and contact us promptly if there is a problem. Include your order number and photographs of the item and packaging. Keep the packaging until we provide instructions.
